STUDIO RULES
  • Students must wear leotard, tights, and have their appropriate shoes for each class. Older students may wear jazz pants for Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop classes. This policy is extremely important and will be enforced. More instructions will be given our the first couple of weeks of class.
  • No loud conversation or playing in lobby before or after class.
  • Students must wait inside the studio after class for a parent.
  • Please pick up your children on time. Continuous tardiness is disrupting. As a courtesy, please let me know if a student has to miss a class.
  • As a courtesy, please let me know if a student has to miss a class for any reason.
  • A show of disrespect to Dance With Stacey staff, parents or other students will not be tolerated.

ATTENDANCE
Attendance is taken at each regularly scheduled class and recognition is given at the recital for perfect attendance. Classes cannot be made up for this award.  Please do not call Ms. Stacey and ask for exemptions. Good attendance is imperative as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. Thanks!

ANNIVERSARY AWARDS
Students are recognized for their participation at Dance With Stacey. Anniversary awards are given for 5, 10, and 15 years at this studio. When students reach one of these goals, they will be recognized at the recital. Over 85 students have received their 5 year award and we have had over eighteen 10 year award recipients. Wow!            THIS IS OUR 17th ANNIVERSARY SEASON.  YEAH!!

PERFORMANCE COSTUMES
Dance With Stacey participates in several performances throughout the year. As a studio, we Perform in the Smyrna Christmas Parade,  The cost involved is aprox.$40.00 (includes shirt, headpiece or prop, and the float fee) and our big showcase at TPAC is in June. Every student that is in the COMBO CLASS will pay the following for their TPAC recital costumes:

  • 2 - 3 years (2 dances) $140.00
  • 4-5 & 6- 7 years (3 dances) $200.00
  • 8 -10 years (3 dances) $220.00
  • 11 -16 years (4 dances) $275.00
  • SPECIALTY CLASSES....HIP HOP, TUMBLING, POINTE, ETC. will be $60.00 each. 4-7 year and $70         8 year and up.

NEW.. 1/2 the costume amounts given above will be due November 1st.   The second payment will be due by February 1st.

          COSTUME PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

NOTE....ALL COSTUMES WILL BE CHOSEN BY MS. STACEY AND DANCE WITH STACEY STAFF.

NOTE....The studio offers for your convenience a BUDGET PLANNING SYSTEM. The way it works is you would divide your total costume payment into five monthly payments. (Oct.- Feb.) Example: the total costume cost: $200.00 divided by 5=$40.00 budget planning amount that will be added to your monthly tuition. 

RECITAL FEES AND TPAC TICKETS:

We hold our annual recital at the Tennessee performing arts center in June. The exact date for the show will be announced in Nov. 09. Every student will pay a recital fee. The amount will vary depending on the number of routines each dancers participates in. With the payment of your recital fee you will get tickets designated for your dancer and their immediate family.

RECITAL FEE SCHEDULE AND GUARANTEE TICKET AMOUNTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1 Dance $50.00 / 4 Tickets....2 or 3 Dances $65.00 / 5 tickets.

4 Dances $75.00 / 6 tickets....5 or more dances. $85.00 / 4 ea. night.

THIS FEE WILL BE DUE MARCH 1ST. RECITAL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

ADDITIONAL TICKETS

More tickets will be available for purchase to invite your extended family and friends. They will be on sale during May and June for $5.00 each. Ticket purchases will be limited to a specific number prior to show date.  The total number of tickets you can purchase will be given in March.

TUITION POLICIES:

  • A new student registration fee of $25.00 is due when joining the studio. Beginning 2006, this is a one time fee as long as the student registers at the designated time next fall.  If you register late and /or do not start classes in September you will be required to pay a registration fee.
  • To complete fall registration you will pay the registration fee (if it applies to you) and the 1st month tuition.
  • Tuition is due the 1st class of each month. A $5.00 late fee will be added for each week late after the 2nd class. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Tuition remains the same whether it is a long (5 week) or a short (3 week) month.
  • Tuition will not be prorated for missed classes.
  • There is a $25.00 returned check fee. Must be replaced with cash. No other checks will be accepted.
  • Make checks payable to "Dance With Stacey" or "DWS".
  • Your cancelled check is your receipt.
  • NEW. we now accept debit/credit card payments. Look for auto-payment options.
STUDIO HOLIDAYS
Reminders will be posted. We do not close for teacher workdays. The following holidays are observed by the studio:
  • Labor Day...Aug. 30th - Sept. 1st, 2008
  • Thanksgiving...Nov. 26th - 30th, 2008
  • Christmas...Dec. 20th 2008-Jan. 4th, 2009
  • Spring Break...March 21st - 29th 2009
  • Easter ...April 10th - 12th 2009
  • Memorial Day...May 23rd -25th, 2009
SNOW OR INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of snow or other inclement weather, please call 220-5120 (after 12:00 noon) for a recorded message of possible class cancellations. Dance With Stacey programs may or may not be cancelled when schools are closed or let out early.                                 Always use your own discretion.
