POLICY
INFORMATION
Dance with Stacey offers a very unique program
to the local Lavergne and Smyrna area schools.
We transport from local schools back to our
studio. Weekly classes include:
Dance Option: All types of dance, voice/music,
drama, tumbling.
Sport Option; All types of sports, Martial arts,
Drama, Tumbling
REGISTRATION FEE:
The
registration fee is $50.00 for the 2008-2009
school year. Many students pay this fee
summer of 08' to hold their spot.
This fee is
non-refundable and non-transferable.
WEEKLY FEE:
The weekly fee is
$60.00 and is due on Mondays. We offer a
discount of $5.00 for second or third child. If you have an
interest in taking classes in the evening you
may pay $70.00 per week. Ask Miss. Stacey for
details. Our evening classes have a recital at
TPAC in June. Great performance opportunity!
DRESS CODE KIT:
ALL STUDENTS
are
required to have a complete dress code kit.
Dance Option kit
Cost is $90.00 plus tax.
Includes: DWS
leotard, DWS jazz pants, Ballet and tap shoes.
Sport Option kit
Cost is $65.00 plus tax.
Includes Karate uniform, DWS T-shirt, Sweat
pants and shorts.You will need to either purchase a dance bag or
bring one from home to keep everything in.
If you are a returning student you may purchase
only the items you might need. The apparel
items can be taken home on Friday to be cleaned,
but must be returned on Monday.
PERFORMANCE Opportunities:
Our after school
students will be invited to participate in the
Smyrna Christmas Parade. The parade apparel and
float fee will be announced in October. The
Dance Option program will also have a parent
show in May in which the parents will be invited
to watch. Students will wear their dress code
items for that performance.
NO SCHOOL DAYS AND 1/2 DAYS:
We will offer care
during planned school closings. You must sign up
for these days. Cost is $25.00
per day plus activity/lunch fees that may apply.
On the early dismissal days that are planned we will
transport from the schools. The fee is $15.00
per day plus activity/lunch fees for a two hour
day. The fee is $10.00 per day for a three hour
15 min.day.
(these fees are in addition to that weeks regular fee).
SNOW POLICY is if school gets out
early WE DO NOT PICK UP. If school
is delayed or cancelled we WILL NOT
PROVIDE CARE.
NOTE.. it is your
responsibility to notify the school of your
alternate transportation plans for this
situation.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
If for any
reason a student needs to withdraw from Dance
With Stacey's aftercare program a parent
must notify the office and fill
out a withdrawal form.
AT LEAST A 2 WEEK NOTICE IS REQUIRED.
If the
proper notice is not given you will be billed
the 2 weeks and if not paid.... collection
procedures will be put into place.
NOTIFICATION OF
ABSENTEES: We MUST be
notified prior to 2pm. If a student is not at
school or leaves early. Simply call the studio
and leave a message if no answer. If we do not
receive any notification you will be charged
$5.00 per incident. This fee will be
due the very next day. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
LATE PAYMENTS:
It
is policy that the weekly tuition is due on
Monday of the current week. If your weekly fee
is not paid by 5:30pm on Tuesday. A $5.00 late
fee per day will be charged. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
If by 5:30pm on Friday the weekly fee of $55.00
& all late fees have not been paid your child
will not be picked to attend our after school
program on Monday.
LATE PICK UPS:
Daily
pick up time is 5:30pm. After school students
must be picked up by this time. We have other
programs at the studio and are unable to
accommodate late pick ups. Pick up times
will not be monitored and if continuous late
pick ups occur the situation will be addressed
with the parent.
NEW....INCIDENT LOG BOOK:
We
will be implementing an incident log this year
to help keep up with several issues students and
/or parents need to take responsibility for. The
type of issues that will in our log book are:
Behavior incidents, No dress code items, No
notification of ABSE NCES, Late payments, Late
pick-ups, etc. If any of these situations occur
you will be asked to sign that you were
notified.
